Founded in 1982, Dakota Business Lending is the oldest, largest, and most experienced 504 CDC in North Dakota, the first North Dakota based financing entity to be chosen by the U.S. Treasury Department's Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Fund to receive a New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation, and the first North Dakota based small business CDFI. With staff throughout their service area, Dakota Business Lending serves North Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota.
