We envision a world where young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.
Our volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. With the help of more than 1000 local volunteers, JA reaches more than 29,000 students annually and helps them develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace.
What does it take to volunteer? Just FIVE 30-45 minute classroom visits! Teach lessons out of a pre-written, step-by-step guide about money, jobs, and entrepreneurship! Classrooms all over Lincoln, Grand Island, and Kearney need volunteers!
