The Forum for Educational Leadership (The Forum) is a collective effort to create the space for highly effective and passionate educators to prepare for their pathway to the top roles in a state, district, or charter organization. A focused supplement to traditional educational leadership training and certification programs, The Forum employs a comprehensive development model to prepare cohorts of leaders for the academic, political, legal, and logistical rigors inherent to K-12 education.
The Forum aims to build strong cohorts of future leaders by providing them with the most current and relevant training and ongoing support as they search for the top opportunities. The Forum is more than just leadership professional development - it is network building, a safe space for honesty and tough conversation, and a support system to help cohort members land the top job, well after they have completed the official programming.
The Forum is the launch of a new kind of learning and networking opportunity for education leaders that harnesses the power of coaching and mentorship, and elevates aspiring leaders from all different backgrounds – many who have faced systemic barriers – to that top job. Participants in The Forum cohort will gain the critical skills unique to landing and sustaining the superintendency, and strengthen their professional network so that the best and brightest in our field can turn their bold intentions into a pathway for success for students.
