Led by students, backed by volunteers and staff, the University of Northampton Students' Union is here to ensure that your time at the University is the best it can possibly be – that it is rewarding, fulfilling and memorable. All students automatically become members of the Students’ Union- a vibrant community of 15000 - as soon as they enrol and it’s absolutely free. As a member you are entitled to all of our services and opportunities, including sports, societies, advice and representation, our retail outlets and our nightclub. Whatever your passion or interest, time commitment or background it couldn’t be easier to get involved in an activity at the Students’ Union - We have something for everyone. We have 30 Sports Clubs to choose from, ranging from cheerleading to rugby, plus diverse and popular societies including the History Society, Climbing Society, Global Students’ Society, and Cheese and Wine Society! Even if you can’t find the one you’re looking for, you can start your own! We also provide academic representation. Through our democratically elected Sabbatical Officers and Student Representatives we offer support when you need your voice to be heard, if you have queries about your course or accommodation, or just feel a bit homesick. The Students’ Union is always here for you.
