First Art is one of a network of projects around England that form the Creative People and Places programme, funded by Arts Council England. Covering the districts of Ashfield, Bolsover, Mansfield and North East Derbyshire, First Art is working with communities where there is low engagement with the arts, helping them to experience and shape great art and challenge perceptions. First Art is a registered charity (no. 1193429) that leads the First Art programme in partnership with Creswell Crags, Junction Arts, Prince’s Trust and Ault Hucknall Environment Action Group.
