We are a registered charity that provides high quality end of life care to patients and their families either at our Day Therapy facility or in patients' own homes. Every year we care for around 5,000 people, including patients affected by a terminal and life limiting illnesses, as well as their carers, family and friends.
Our Hospice at Home team provides palliative care nurses to support patients and families in their own home, totalling over 36,000 hours of care a year. And each day we are able to support 35 people with Cancer, organ failure and neurological illnesses such as MS, Parkinson’s disease and MND at our Day Therapy facility on Woodborough Road, Nottingham.
We believe that everyone facing the end of their life deserves the best possible care. At Nottinghamshire Hospice we promote and support clinical excellence in hospice care, honest and transparent fundraising and campaign to increase awareness of the importance of quality support for those reaching the end of their life.
As we provide our services free of charge to patients and their loved ones, it means that every year we need to raise £3 million per year through our retail division, donations, legacies, weekly lottery and fundraising activities.
