Shingleback is a family owned and operated estate winery located in the premium wine producing region of McLaren Vale in South Australia. Brothers John and Kym Davey joined together in 1995 to realise a long held dream, to plant the family vineyard. Their first wine was produced in 1998, a shiraz, and has since led to the production of a range of highly acclaimed, premium wines including Shingleback, Red Knot and The Gate. Each is made in its own distinct style showcasing the best the region has to offer. The Davey brothers and their Shingleback team are skilled, experienced and dedicated to producing oustanding, award winning wines from the land they love.
