The ever-widening gap between the ‘have and have nots’ is real. What many young people need, especially those facing disadvantage, is an opportunity to meaningfully participate in the community.
The primary goal of Social Enterprise Group is to engage young people in supported work-placements and ongoing employment, by funding and providing a safe pathway from a situation of disadvantage, to one of opportunity through engagement, training and ultimately a job they love.
SEG does this by firstly assisting in funding support programs run by recognised youth-focused non-profit groups, designed to build confidence, belief and life-skills, and secondly by providing a safe and supported transition and pathway into meaningful vocational training and employment.
Social Enterprise Group is Certified as a Social Enterprise by Social Traders.
Social Enterprise Group (SEG) has been founded as a collaborative social impact venture by partners: established non-profit organisation Cottage by the Sea (ABN: 21987748593) and Tender Print Australia (TPA) (ABN: 17887669803); with the support of a number of experienced community and business leaders.
