Women's Online Media & Education Network (W.O.M.E.N.) began in 1994 and operates daily with a strong sense of mission – to give women and all people a greater virtual voice – and by doing so, to encourage more balanced communications in every aspect of our lives, thereby bringing greater balance to our world. The web has been a great teacher. By showing up and participating in the wonderful world of “web,” we here at W.O.M.E.N. have learned the value of cooperation.
