More than 40 years of pipe manufacturing, Krakatau Pipe Industries with API 5L certification has accumulated extensive experience from domestic and international projects. Pipe Mill Facilities : Krakatau Pipe Industries equipped with two pipe production facilities to produce two different types of pipe. The first one is four units Spiral Pipe Machine (SPM) that produce high quality Spiral Welded Pipe using Spiral Arc Welding technique, and second is a unit of high speed Electric Resistance Welding Pipe Machine (ERW) producing high quality Longitudinal Welded Pipe using Electric Resistance Welding Technique. The ERW machine is able to produce pipe ranging from 4 to 20 inches of outer diameter. Each unit of spiral pipe machine provides unique range of production capability so that together resulted in ability to produce wide range of spiral welded pipe started from 12 inch up to 80 inches of outside diameter (OD) and 52 meters of length.
