Netnod is a neutral and independent Internet infrastructure organisation based in Sweden. We are fully owned by the non-profit foundation TU-stiftelsen (Stiftelsen för Telematikens utveckling).
With more than 20 years of experience at the core of the Internet, Netnod has the established expertise for providing critical infrastructure support, ranging from DNS services and root server operations to Internet exchange points (IXPs) and activities for the good of the Internet.
We manage the largest IXPs in the Nordics and provide DNS services to TLDs, partners and enterprises throughout the world. As a non-profit organisation, we operate i.root-servers.net, one of the Internet’s 13 root name servers. Netnod is also responsible for distributing Swedish national time through NTP.
