Cam Sight is the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Charity supporting local people of all ages living with low vision and blindness to live the lives they choose.
We work in partnership with local people, helping them to achieve the possibilities they choose in life. Client choice and control are central to our purpose and the organisation supports over 2,000 people of all ages, life stages and circumstances through our two centres in Cambridge and Wisbech.
Services have been developed to enhance the independence, improve the well-being, and increase the inclusion of people living with blindness and low vision across the county. These include groups for pre-school children, young people and their families; peer support groups; Low Vision Equipment and Technology Centres in Cambridge and Wisbech; outreach team to visit people in their homes and communities; volunteer befriending and opportunities for taking part in sport and leisure activities Pilates, tandem cycling, garden walks and museum visits.
