As well as offering an undergraduate BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, our school offers fantastic taught postgraduate programmes (see below) and opportunities for research supervision for Masters, Professional Doctorate and PhD students.
Research and innovation are at the core of what we do in the school of Physiotherapy, and we have a vibrant active cohort of students (PhD, Professional doctoral) and researchers who are undertaking high impact clinical and patient catered research projects funded via competitively awarded grants.
Taught Postgraduate programmes
Our Masters in neurology-and-gerontology is a unique two-year part-time MSc programme which aims to develop your professional knowledge base, skills and understanding, required to fulfil a role in the rehabilitation of neurological and older adults in the context of changing healthcare services.
Our 6 Micro-credential courses suitable for all post graduate health care professionals are; Physical Activity and Health Behaviour Change in clinical Populations, Musculoskeletal Injection Therapy, Leadership and Management in Healthcare, Research Methods, Stroke Rehabilitation and Translating Evidence to Practice. Designed for busy healthcare professionals, our micro-credential courses are focused and flexible to allow learners gain specialised knowledge and skills in a range of specific healthcare topics.
