After successful careers in academic and private medical practice management, Mark Babst and Neal Green founded The Coding Network (TCN) in 1995 on the core principal that accurate coding is an essential component of any compliance program, and is critical to optimizing reimbursement. The Coding Network has since grown into America’s premier broker of specialty-specific coding services. All of work is done in the United States by a network of over 800 single specialty coders and auditors that cover over 57 physician specialties and subspecialties.
TCN brokers 4 basic services:
1. Coding (day to day, backlog, vacation/medical coverage and expansion that doesn’t require a fully dedicated coder)
2. Coding accuracy audits, including ICD-10 Gap Analysis
3. Physician documentation training
4. Helpline
Services are provided on a per-encounter basis with no monthly minimums or fees, with customers in complete control of how much work gets done at all times. For pricing and other sales inquiries, please call (888) 263-3633.
Coders render services remotely tapping directly into EMRs, using cloud storage, secure email, fax or whichever HIPAA approved method is most convenient for clients. TCN coders can work a minimum of 15 hours a week allowing them to keep other jobs, but many chose to work more.
Coders All Meet The Following Criteria:
• Are certified through AAPC or AHIMA
• Live and work in the United States
• Have a minimum of 3 years single specialty production coding experience (auditors have at least 5 years)
• Demonstrated single specialty proficiency thru a screening process coding de-identified cases of tertiary care cases
