Ark Homes Foster Family Agency was established in November 2003. Located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Ark Homes Foster Family Agency provides committed, loving, families for foster children. Becoming a certified foster parent takes an average of 8 weeks and can be very rewarding to a person. There are classes one must take in order to become a foster parent that gives the specialized training needed. Our mission is to create a better and safe environment for children, where they can have an opportunity to return to a more rewarding quality of life. Our goal is to effectively match the needs of each child in our care with appropriate placement in as natural a home environment as possible. We emphasize education, self-esteem and development of personal values and support during the maturation process towards independence. This is accomplished by foster parents and with support services offered by the agency. Children are either reunited with their parents or emancipated as independent adults.
