Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine (Pty) Ltd is a Platinum Producing Mine based in Swartklip, in the Province of Limpopo, the Republic of South Africa specifically known as Union Mine. We also produce Palladium, Rhodium, Gold and Chrome as by-products. The Mine was acquired from Anglo American Platinum effective from the 1st of February 2018 by Siyanda Resources and the Bakgatla-Ba-Kgafela Joint Venture. The Mine has an estimated life of 17 Years and employ about 5200 Full Time Employees. We sell our PGM through an Offtake agreement with Anglo American Platinum’s Rustenburg Platinum Mines. Our Chrome is extracted from the tails by our sister company, Masa Chrome.
