Welfare Services Ernakulam, known as 'Sahrudaya' is a registered charitable organization. Founded in the year 1965, Welfare Services Ernakulam is a registered charitable organization under the Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955. The organization is promoted by the Archdiocese of Ernakulam - Angamaly. The patron is His Grace Mar George Cardinal Alancherry (Major Arch Bishop of Syrian Catholic Church, Kerala). Bishop Sebastian Adayanthrath is the President of Welfare Services Ernakulam and Auxillary Bishop of the Archdiocese and the Secretary cum Executive Director is Fr. Paul Cherupilly MSW WSE has five decades of rich experience in facilitating Human and Institution Development Activities, Socio-economic development, and other Community level interventions for social change. Through these, thousands of poor and marginalized people could be brought to improved living conditions and self-reliance.
