The Arrowhead Regional Development Commission (ARDC), one of nine regional development commissions established by the State of Minnesota, has served Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis Counties of NE Minnesota for over 45 years. ARDC provides a wide range of professional planning, direct support and technical services to the Arrowhead region and is also a partner in providing transportation planning services to Douglas County, WI. ARDC consists of three separate divisions: Regional Planning, the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging and the Duluth-Superior Metropolitan Interstate Council.
