TMI Episcopal is a coeducational, college-preparatory school for students in grades 6-12 with optional JROTC and boarding programs. Athletics, fine arts, spirituality, and extracurricular activities round out the TMI experience.
Since 1893, TMI has educated students to become servant leaders in our communities. From the school’s first valedictorian, General Douglas MacArthur ’97, to its many graduates throughout the years – such as Tom C. Frost Jr. ’45, Congressman Lamar Smith ’65, astronauts, military officers, Pulitzer Prize nominees and many other notable men and women – TMI has a long history of educational excellence in preparing students for college and beyond.
TMI educates both girls and boys in grades 6-12, offering small classes, honors and AP courses, and a full range of extracurricular activities including community service, robotics, outdoor education, theater, choir, and band. The competitive athletic program at TMI emphasizes teamwork, work ethic, sportsmanship, and commitment while over 1/3 of the student body participates in the nationally distinguished JROTC program, which boasts the award of Honor Unit with Distinction, and provides students unsurpassed leadership training.
"TMI taught me to think critically, seek the underlying meaning and not take things at face value. Most importantly, I gained the confidence and drive to pursue my dreams," Christopher S. Wagner '86.
Non-Discriminatory Statement: TMI Episcopal does not discriminate in its selection of students or its administration of educational policies, financial aid, merit scholarships and other school-administered programs on the basis of race, gender, religion or ethnic origin.
