Talking Eyes Media (TEM) is an award-winning, nonprofit production company. We are civically-minded media makers with the imagination, passion & expertise to transform ideas into impactful media. TEM has been at the forefront of multimedia storytelling since writer/filmmaker Julie Winokur and photojournalist Ed Kashi founded the company in 2002. Whether it's a full length documentary film, short video, photo essay, book, website or exhibition, we approach storytelling with integrity, sensitivity and a collaborative spirit. Social entrepreneurs, policy makers, private and public organizations use our materials to put a human face on complex social issues and broaden public discourse.
