Identity
Saint Joseph School, Cornet Chahwan, is a Lebanese, co-educational Diocesan Catholic School from Nursery to Third Secondary.
Accreditation: Saint Joseph School is a fully accredited school by the Lebanese Ministry of Education under the Decree # 13946, Date: 26/9/1963 and #1281, Date: 22/12/1969.
Mission
SJS is a trilingual (Arabic, English, French) school; it aims at developing the student’s personality in a holistic and harmonious way allowing him/her to nurture his/her potentials for self-realization in an atmosphere of trust and self-confidence. It provides the proper context for acquiring Christian, moral and patriotic values, which will enable the child to become a faithful, truthful, lawful citizen, and an active member of the society and the church. The student population is varied and comes from different areas and social backgrounds.

Curriculum
SJS adopts the curriculum set by the National Ministry of Education amply supplemented in accordance with SJS standards. The curriculum employs a variety of teaching approaches and evaluation techniques that promote learning.
