Even without a military degree, you may be the person we are looking for. 2000 of our employees in the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (NDLO) are civilians. The NDLO is a competence-based organisation which employs engineers, lawyers, economists and technical personnel, among others.
When the Norwegian Armed Forces solve their missions, the NDLO ensures that the best equipment is available to them. The NDLO has at its disposal around 50 per cent of the annual Defence Budget and is responsible for procuring, developing, maintaining, updating, and eventually decommissioning all Armed Forces materiel.
Our people provide Norwegian forces with everything from high-quality thermal underwear to Europe's most advanced fighter planes. Some of our brightest minds were involved in developing the good old field boot, as well as the high-tech helmet to be used in the Armed Force's new F-35 fighter plane.
