Founded in 2015, we are a network of students, professionals, academics, and researchers who support and encourage diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at King's College London.
WiSTEM works to represent womxn, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ scientists at the faculty level and fights for better working conditions. We aim to bridge the gender gap in STEM by hosting events, academic talks, workshops, and organise socials to help more womxn in STEM join these areas and succeed in their career.
With more than 250 members, we are more than just a society, our Policy Lobbying and Activism (PLA) team works closely with our Departments and Faculties on policies to improve the overall experience for all womxn pursuing STEM degrees at King's College London.
