Our Mission
In a rapidly changing and racially diverse community, the Coalition for Racial and Educational Justice (CoREJ) works to support and aid educational institutions by providing guidance for collaborative racial and educational justice practices. Alongside community partners, our team provides guidance in areas of institutional equity, collaborative learning and community engagement programs throughout the state.
Our Racial Justice and Intersectionality Statement
Striving to be one of the largest racial justice centers in the state, our focus aims to dismantle harmful educational systems that perpetuate hate, xenophobia, and ignorance. Our collaborative work with racial justice and educational equity programs is handled with the utmost integrity alongside community partners. Our organization seeks to center and collectively support the marginalized communities most impacted by institutional, systematic, and interpersonal oppression which include Black Indigenous & People of Color, LGBTQIA2S+ people, immigrants, migrants, refugees, incarcerated and formerly incarcerated folks, low-income people and people with disabilities.
