Rossall currently provides one of the broadest curriculum programmes available in the UK independent school market. Rossall Preparatory School has a bespoke curriculum whilst the Senior School continues to follow the British National Curriculum, culminating with GCSE/iGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11. In the Sixth Form, pupils then have the choice to study either A levels or the globally recognised IB Diploma Programme. In 2021, the IB cohort’s average point score of 35 placed Rossall firmly amongst the premier league of IBDP schools within the UK. At A-Level, over 2/3s of all grades awarded either A*-A. GCSE pupils also achieved excellent GCSE results. Over 55% of all entries awarded this summer were a grade 7 or above, with an astounding fifth of all grades achieving the coveted grade 9.
