The Centre for the Study of Adolescence is an independent non-partisan, non-profit organization established in 1988. The purpose of the centre is to advocate and implement policies and programs that enable young people to exercise choice, access to services and participate fully in activities that promote their health and well-being.
Since its inception, the Centre has been involved in many activities aimed at influencing national policy on issues critical to Adolescent Reproductive Health in Kenya.
The Centre thus provides a forum for allied groups to pursue a unified goal by co-ordinating strategies and pooling resources. While CSA spent many years responding to the need for awareness-creation and provision of information on the status of Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) in Kenya, it is now time for intervention initiatives that are more community - based.
