Jenny King was a late bloomer in the art world taking her first art class at the age of 27. Aside from a couple of initial art classes, she is virtually self-taught, having honed her skills over the years. Now that she has found her niche, her work is emerging around the country.
Using oil as her medium, Jenny uses vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes to enhance and exaggerate light and shadows in her paintings. Since 2005, her works have been displayed and sold at local shops and restaurants.
Participating in the art festivals in the Atlanta area has always provided Jenny with inspiration. She loves the flow of energy and the people in the crowds. Jenny paints wherever her inspiration leads and it is always exciting to see her latest works.
In April of 2009, Jenny opened her own working studio off the historic Marietta Square. Her vision was to create a comfortable, relaxed, fun atmosphere where artists could create, support each other and sell their works to the public. Her vision, much like her art, has become a reality.
