Neighborhood Medical Center boasts its own in-house lab and provides X-rays onsite. The practice handles a full scope of medical needs, be it family practice, urgent care or occupational. Some 2,000 patient visit Neighborhood Medical Center per month, for a wide-range of services, such as routine physicals, vaccinations, treatment of childhood and adult illnesses, urgent care services, and management of chronic conditions, from diabetes to asthma. Dr. McElya is also experienced in treating patients with colon cancer. In addition, he’s one of only two physicians in Texas who is certified to conduct immigration physicals for Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. Walk ins are always welcome!
