The West Somerset Railway is a 20 mile heritage railway running between Bishops Lydeard (Nr. Taunton) and Minehead. Stations include Crowcombe Heathfield, Stogumber, Williton, Doniford Halt, Watchet, Washford, Blue Anchor and Dunster. The railway runs regular services throughout the year from February to December featuring a fantastic selection of events including Steam & Diesel Galas, Dining Trains and Family favourites including Day Out with Thomas and Santa Trains. The railway is home to three museums at Bishops Lydeard, Washford and Blue Anchor and the locomotive turning triangle at Minehead Station. New for 2014: Augmented Reality 'Heritage Hunter' App. The railway is one of the top tourist attractions in Somerset with over 1000 volunteers and 50 staff.
