Active+ Neuro Physio clinic is a collaboration between our experienced team at Active+ Albany and renowned neuro physio Gilly Davy. It is based in a spacious location and is equipped with specialised neuro rehab physio equipment, including a body weight support system. We are also the only physio clinic in New Zealand to be able to provide REX bionic exoskeleton rehabilitation. Our neuro team is able to see anyone with a neurological condition such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Peripheral Neuropathy, Vestibular issues and we have an experienced team who work on ACC Concussion Services. We run classes such as the innovative PD Warrior (a course that incorporates both physical and cognitive activity for people in the early stages of Parkinson's Disease). The team includes Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologist & Occupational Therapists as well as access to nurses who are trained in rehab. Active+ has a strong multidisciplinary approach and a wealth of additional therapists we can call on including neurologists and psychologists.
