Our unbroken story of a landscape tended by the same family for generations, The Stafford family is as rooted in County Wexford as the harvest they lovingly produce. They are potato growers, famed for the quality and consistency of their crops. Slaney Farms, home of Jackford Irish Potato Gin is based in Enniscorthy, County Wexford and the core ingredient of the gin is the Rooster potato. John Stafford saw an opportunity to add more value to his expertly grown produce by creating his own take on the popular beverage. He features his own potatoes and several other carefully selected ingredients. Our process of creating Jackford Irish Potato Gin is based on traditional distilling methods where a mash is produced and a Potato Neutral Spirit is created. Next, the magic happens, adding beautiful, high-level quality botanicals. Carefully crafted, our Irish Jackford Irish Potato Gin delivers the earthy tones of the rich Wexford soil complimented by delicate fruit and spices.
