The All Hazards Consortium (AHC) is a 16 year old 501c3 non-profit org focused on enhancing resilience for the nation's critical infrastructure by reducing operational risks resulting in communities and businesses getting back to normal operations faster.
The AHC exists to create a new approach to joint planning, research / development, rapid prototyping and sharing sensitive operational information to enhance its government and industry decision making.
The AHC's 45,000+ stakeholders in industry and government work together to create new regional processes & solutions to enhance decision making in multiple areas including:
- Regional non-emergency and emergency situational awareness
- Expediting private sector resource movement across state lines and borders
- Enhancing damage assessment and mitigation
- Expediting applied research commercialization
The AHC's unique legal and policy based trust framework enables government and industry to jointly addresses complex, persistent public/private security and emergency related regional issues in disaster management, business continuity and cyber security.
