Founder, John Horan, was one of the original importers of solar panels into the country. In 2015, Horan & Bird was featured in the Australian Financial Review as a finalist in the BRW Mid Cap Company Of The Year. At the end of a very successful year, Origin Energy acquired Horan & Bird. In 2016, we became the largest commercial solar company in Australia with customers such as Kia, Audi, Subway, Harley Davidson, Reece, Woolworths, and many more. In 2020, Horan & Bird left the Origin Group and merged with the Leading Renewable Energy Fund, Juice Capital led by Jay Howard and Stew Gall.
