Fast Track was the leading research and events company that created a network of the UK’s top private companies and entrepreneurs through publishing annual rankings in The Sunday Times.
Hamish Stevenson founded the company in 1997 with cornerstone sponsorship from Sir Richard Branson and Virgin, with The Sunday Times as media partners; and he closed the company at the end of June 2021 due to the impact of the pandemic on future sponsorship revenues.
Fast Track published six annual league tables and brought the founders and directors together at invitation-only networking awards events and alumni dinners, supported by sponsors.
Over 25 years, Fast Track published 127 league tables featuring more than 5,800 companies, including nearly half of the UK’s c2,500 private companies with operating profits of over £3m, and hosted over 500 invitation-only events attended by 18,000 entrepreneurs and directors.
