The Salinas Union High School District serves 16,257 students in grades 7-12 who live in and outside the city of Salinas, California. Originally home to one high school in 1900, it has since grown to five comprehensive high schools, four middle schools, and three alternative education schools. It's mission is "Guided by educational equity and through innovation, discovery, and support, the SUHSD will meet the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of each student to ensure achievement of their aspirations."
