Our current support network and free services include:
• Family Activity Clubs

• Parent Carers Club
• Annual Kielder Activity Short Break
• One-to-one emotional support for children, siblings and parents via our Children and Family Support Manager
• Access to our private online family community
• Access to our Community Children’s Nurse, stationed at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, who provides practical and emotional support to children from diagnosis, helping them transition home from a long hospital stay and continuing to support the child and their family on their life journey
Charlie House has launched its public ‘Big Build Appeal’ to engage and call on people in the North-east of Scotland to support its three-year fundraising campaign to raise £8millon for the Charlie House Specialist Support Centre. The specialist support centre, which will support babies, children and young people with complex disabilities and life-limiting conditions, will be built in the grounds of Woodend Hospital in Aberdeen. It will be an 8-bedroom centre, with additional family accommodation, set in 4 acres of ground.
