MEDEVAC.FLIGHTS responds to emergency situations domestically and internationally. We provide patients, who have experienced significant trauma or are suffering from serious medical conditions, with exceptional care, provided by specialist doctors and nurses. This service is also for people stranded in countries with little or no medical care, or those who need immediate repatriation after a disaster. We work with insurance companies, international assistance companies, governments and individuals to ensure that patients who need to be transferred or repatriated are transported promptly and safely.
We also provide support and care to patients who need to be transported from one facility to another. This is not in an emergency, is scheduled ahead of time, but these patients generally require ongoing nursing care during their transfer; for example, a stretcher, pain management or monitoring.
MEDEVAC.FLIGHTS works in association with Australia’s leading operators of fixed wing aircraft. We operate with two Falcon 50 jets, two Falcon 20 jets, and a number of other aircraft.
These jets are fitted with specialised best-in-class loading systems and ICU setup (stretchers, bases with power and oxygen, and medical equipment). All aircraft have large stand-up pressurised cabins, toilets and APU (meaning that the aircraft will be air-conditioned on the tarmac for patient comfort and safety). All aircraft are maintained to the highest level of safety and maintenance schedules.
Crews are available for 12-16 hours’ duty time, whilst meeting the new CASA regulations for fatigue management. These jets have 24/7 coverage 365 days a year.
