Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH) is a cross-sectoral arena and network involving stakeholders, organisations, projects and expertise in the area of sustainable healthcare – all sharing the goal of creating a greener healthcare sector.
Today, the healthcare sector is responsible for a substantial part of global carbon emissions. NCSH takes a holistic approach to sustainability and works with solutions such as energy efficiency, reduction of pharmaceutical residuals in the environment, green building design, waste management, reduction of single-use items, circular options and so on.
The network of NCSH includes companies, hospitals, regions, universities, NGOs, clusters and more. Together, these form an arena generating collaborations, projects and business opportunities, along with new knowledge and innovative ideas in the field.
