Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH) is a cross-sectoral arena and network involving stakeholders, organisations, projects and expertise in the area of sustainable healthcare – all sharing the goal of creating a greener healthcare sector. Today, the healthcare sector is responsible for a substantial part of global carbon emissions. NCSH takes a holistic approach to sustainability and works with solutions such as energy efficiency, reduction of pharmaceutical residuals in the environment, green building design, waste management, reduction of single-use items, circular options and so on.
