Lighthouse Youth Center is a free after-school and summer youth program that provides a central location where kids can gather safely for recreational activities, receive assistance on their academic assignments, and enjoy the positive influence of adult Christian mentors. The mission of Lighthouse Youth Center is to be a beacon of hope to the youth of the community. Lighthouse is open to youth between the ages of 10 to 18 years. These youth are able to attend free of charge. We provide a wide range of activities for the youth including reward trips, meals, education support and life skills training. Ultimately, because of Lighthouse Youth Center, neighborhood youth will become involved, responsible members of society and contribute to the improvement of the neighborhood. We have been open for 18 years and have gone from one location to five and have served over 5,800 youth.
