Thimble.io teaches kids (ages 10+) engineering and programming through an in person curriculum and an online learning portal with easy-to-follow tutorials.
Kits include hands-on projects that follow a guided curriculum aligned with NGSS and Common Core standards. Students learn to build robots, weather stations, alarm clocks, and other devices from start to finish. They also acquire skills taught in high school and college-level engineering and computer science courses.
We make STEM subjects less intimidating for teachers that are looking to inspire their students with fun and relevant activities. We have a New York state-wide contract through BOCES and also have a partnership with the Smithsonian. Our vision: to revolutionize the future of work by sparking the next generation of engineers and technologists.
