RiverBay Corporation is the management company that manages Co-Op City, a New York State Mitchell-Lama housing cooperative with apartments in 35 buildings, and is responsible for maintaining RiverBay at Co-op City.
Riverbay Corporation is led by a sixteen-member Board of Directors. Fifteen of the members are residents of Co-op City while the sixteenth is a representative of New York State's Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR).
There are several Riverbay departments, each assigned to handling specific tasks on behalf of Riverbay Corporation. The Riverbay Sales department is the exclusive transfer agent for all apartment sales and is responsible for the acceptance and processing all Co-op City apartment sale applications for both new applicants and transfer applicants.
