Our software supports structural engineers in efficiently calculating the load-bearing capacity and stability of building structures. We stand out for a wide range of diverse, modern solutions, all of which are developed and tested in Germany by experienced and qualified civil engineers. Genuine know-how, a deep understanding of our customers and short innovation cycles lead to meeting the markets everyday challenges in structural analysis and design comprehensively with practicable solutions. Our component-oriented calculation approach significantly reduces the modelling effort and enables particularly simple, fast and precise verification. FRILO was founded in 1978 by Jens Friedrich and Norbert Lochner. The actual company name "Friedrich + Lochner" soon developed into the abbreviation "FRILO". When FRILO was integrated into the Nemetschek Group as an independent brand in 1999, the two founders set the course for a successful future. Since 2019, Markus Gallenberger has been at the helm of the company as CEO. Under his leadership, DC-Software was acquired in order to expand the portfolio in foundation engineering. In addition, FRILO, SCIA and DC-Software were merged into the Nemetschek Engineering.
