The Appliance Standards Awareness Project (ASAP) organizes and leads a broad-based coalition effort that works to advance, win and defend new national appliance, equipment and lighting standards which deliver large energy and water savings, money savings and environmental benefits. The Department of Energy reports that new standards issued since 2008 will save consumers between $250 and $300 billion on their energy bills through 2030.”
