Safe Haven Foundation is a registered charity founded by Karen and John Sherbut in 1996. Safe Haven Foundation has been actively delivering programs and serving the community since 2000. Our Founding Program Haven's Way™ duplicates that of a loving and supportive family environment, providing girls with a Safe Haven at which to heal and work through their issues, complete their education, and learn valuable life skills allowing them to become contributing members to our society. Safe Haven Foundation also operates Therapeutic Recreation and Scholarship Programs, providing girls with opportunities to pursue their passions while further entrenching them in the community, and to complete their education equipping them for a lifetime of self-sufficiency. There is no time limit on how long girls can stay at Haven's Way™ and as girls move on they remain forever a part of the Safe Haven Foundation family.
