Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) is a Government of India owned company based in Mumbai. It was established in 1960 to indigenise the manufacture of basic chemicals and to reduce the country's dependence on the import of vital organic chemicals. Its products are Phenol, Acetone, Nitrobenzene, Aniline, Nitrotoluenes, Chlorobenzenes & Nitrochlorobenzenes. It is the second-largest producer of Phenol and Acetone in India.
