Firm History
Studio Agoos Lovera began when founding partners Jorge Lovera and Ted Agoos established Agoos/Lovera Architects (A/LA) in September 1983, after several years of working together in leading Philadelphia design firms.
The firm sustained growth over the years has been with a clear sense of purpose, and sound, ongoing long-range planning. Consistent with our growth, Dave Franke and Jim Rowe became Principals in 1999, joining the founders in leading the firm. The evolution of the firm has continued in 2011 with the retirement of founding Principal Jorge Lovera and the announcement of our new name, Studio Agoos Lovera.
Since the beginning, our mission as a firm has been to provide the highest possible level of design services to a diversified client base; we quickly reached that goal, with designs for private and public clients in the corporate, education, civic, residential, and sports/entertainment fields.
This staffing size and quality provide our firm and clients with a significant level of technical depth, consistently high quality levels of design and documentation and staffing flexibility.
Studio Agoos Lovera's size and organizational structure allow the firm to successfully complete complex projects with a construction range of $1 million to $300 million.
