The Center for Mobility Equity, (formerly Central Maryland Regional Transit) a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1987, provides transportation information to over 300,000 people annually throughout Maryland. Our Travel Training Program empowers individuals with disabilities, students, Veterans, and older adults to explore fixed-route transportation options, understand their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and more fully participate in their communities. The Transportation Resource Information Point (TRIP) is a one-call, one click transportation information center that provides a multitude of resources for Maryland, found at mdtrip.org and 877-331-TRIP(8747) The Center for Mobility Equity works with regional partners such as human service agencies, employment centers and transportation agencies. We provide a support system to those looking to learn about the greater transportation network to become regular riders in the region.
