Xihua University was founded in 1960, and it was named as Key Provincial University by Sichuan provincial government in 1978. Xihua has 22 colleges, 83 undergraduate majors, 75 master's degree authorization, and 1 provincial post-doctoral innovation center. We have more than 40,000 undergraduate students and more than 2,000 graduate students. In recent years, the school has been focusing on improving our curriculums emphasizing on Liberal Education and cultivating students' interests in innovation and entrepreneurship. We established a fund and an incubator to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the campus. We also established a science and technology park to host matured projects before they go to market independently. We constantly introduce new incentives and measures to encourage students’ interaction and collaboration in and out of classroom. Our students’ overall quality, practical problem solving ability, and innovative mindset have been recognized widely, and specifically on the job market. In recent years, our graduate employment rate has been maintained at more than 90% rate consistently.
