CYPRINUS TRADING started its operation in February 2005; it is a single proprietorship under the name of Jhoanna Pe?a but the business is run by spouses Francis Pena D.V.M. for sales, technical operations and Jhoanna Pe?a for finance and administration.
2007 the owners of the company started making plans to revive the company. Doc Pen as Mr. Pe?a is widely known by his colleagues was receiving request to supply dry reject foods from different farms and feed mills. At that time, suppliers were over charging farms and feed mills hence the reason why the couple thought of venturing into this type of project. Slowly, husband and wife were thinking of ways to approach the project until Mrs. Pe?a decided to conduct research in the food manufacturing industry. Slowly the couple was able to plan their approach and slowly started receiving offers for them to buy dry reject foods from different companies locally.
To this date, the agriculture industry has a wide range of needs for dry reject foods to be used for the swine and livestock industry, this is due to the high cost of feeds both local and international.
Cyprinus trading continuously strive to meet the monthly demands of
their clients. The following products are currently on their buying list:
Dry noodles
Flavored or unflavored snack foods
Milk powders
Broken rice
Nuts (all sorts of nuts flavored or unflavored)

2008, the couple met the group of Talleres de Nazaret a spiritual congregation who has been manufacturing the following products:
1. Crunchy green mussels (Krispy tahong)
2. Squid rings (calamares)
3. Squid heads
The congregation aims to provide support to women workers by:
*Promoting women workers dignity

*And promote the spirituality of work through the world of labor.
To date the company is now receiving many offers to help sell their products.
Although Cyprinus Trading is already making itself known in the industry it is
yet to establish itself in both local and export industry.
