Greater Copenhagen Fire Department is the biggest emergency fire fighting and rescue service in Denmark with almost 1,000 employees and a total budget of DKK 500 million.
We supply:
Fire service, ambulance service, building and construction fire safety requirements, fire inspections, fire prevention, civil emergency planning, 112 dispatch centre for the Greater Copenhagen area, consultancy services and education.
The enterprise was established on 1 January 2016, with the existing emergency fire services in the municipalities of Albertslund, Brøndby, Dragør, Frederiksberg, Glostrup, Hvidovre and Rødovre and the City of Copenhagen joining forces to form a joint municipal service which covers all eight local authorities and almost one million citizens.
